TREES

You are looking at the glorious colours

of bark on one type of eucalyptus tree.

It's about to peel off and produce

new shades of beauty.

Unfortunately much of the bush in our area

is under threat from

fire.

The air is smoke filled!

This is the result of fires last year!

My home is not under threat at this stage,

but we will have to be vigilant

against embers blown in from

the fire front.

The coming weekend is forcast as being one of

extreme danger.

As with many parts of Australia at the moment,

we are on high alert.
